Thanksgiving

Psalm 100

1  A psalm of thanksgiving.
    Shout joyfully to the LORD, all you lands;
2  serve the LORD with gladness;
    come before him with joyful song.
3  Know that the LORD is God,
    he made us, we belong to him,
    we are his people, the flock he shepherds.          
4  Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
    his courts with praise.
    Give thanks to him, bless his name;
5  good indeed is the LORD,
    His mercy endures forever,
    his faithfulness lasts through every generation.

This is an article about Obama and the Catholic church. It asserts that most Catholics voted for Obama. It's a very sad commentary on the state of politics in this country. In my opinion, I think many didn't bother to educate themselves about the candidates, they just got their info from the media and went with that. It's a pity.

Hunting for deer from an 8 year old's perspective. I'm really sad they didn't get one. The tag was for antlerless, but they only saw bucks this season. We only got a little bit of venison from a friend who managed to get one. Maybe next year.

P.S. This really freaked my out sending my son out for a couple of hours with the hunter. He seemed to enjoy it, though, like father like son.
